Where do you live?
I live in Wilbraham MA which is in the Western part of the state.
Where do you generally photograph your sessions?
I have a wide variety of favorite locations that I shoot at but am willing to travel up to an hour to your favorite location. For children and babies I photograph primarily in studio which is in my home.
Will you travel outside New England to shoot a wedding?
I am willing to travel to any wedding destination that is within an hour and a half of Wilbraham. I have scaled back on destination weddings.
What is your style of photography?
The way I describe my style is "clean and real photography". I started as a film shooter and believe in creating my visions with dynamic lighting. I usually ask clients what their preferred style is and honestly, the comments are " we love everything you do " so I mix up many different styles.
How much of a deposit do you require to hold a wedding date?
The retainer fee to book and hold your date is $400. Final payment is required at the last meeting before the wedding.
Do you shoot the weddings yourself?
Yes. I personally do all the work associated with the photography of your wedding including the consultation, the shooting, the overseeing of the digital file and print processing, the production of your album, and everything in between. However, on occasions when a second wedding is proposed for the same date, I can provide a second team to photograph the wedding day. I personally provide all other work related to the wedding.
How long have you been a professional photographer?
I have been making a full time living from my photography since 2004. I started out shooting weddings with other companies on a part time basis for several years prior to starting on my own business. I soon realized that wedding photography was something I truly enjoyed and began shooting weddings as the main focus of my business. Weddings led to babies so I also have a large baby business as well.
Do you work with an assistant?
Yes. All wedding photography packages include two photographers and all portrait sessions include a lighting assistant.
Do you limit the number of images that you take?
No. I shoot as many photos that it takes to properly photograph your wedding. The requirements of your particular wedding will dictate how many images will be shot. We shoot between 800-1000 photos during most eight hour weddings.
What kind of equipment do you use?
I use top of the line Canon lenses and digital cameras. I also use off camera lighting and a variety of other lighting sources to create the looks you see in my images.
Do you shoot digital or film?
I began my photography shooting film and slides. I now shoot digital as I find it allows for new creativity. With digital photography you do not have to choose between shooting on color film versus black and white.
How long will it take for us to see the photos from our wedding?
You will be able to see a sneak peek of your photos online within one to two days from your wedding date. You will receive your digital files within two weeks of your wedding date delivered on a USB drive.
Do you include a finished album in your base package price?
No. Base packages are for service only and include additional items but not an album. I offer the ability to purchase albums and packages as an add on. This I find helps to suit every couples needs and budget.
How much does a custom designed finished album cost?
The base album cost is $450 and may be modified to suit your needs.
